Membership Meeting: meeting called to order at 7:35 PM

Members present: Rusty and Dave Kingery, Jan Leikam, Geri Orta, Dee Carlson, Nancy Warfield, Jackie Blumenstetter, Tonya Gisselberg

Minutes from the September meeting were approved with a correction to add Geri Orta to the list of people that attended the meeting.

Report of the President: Rusty reported on the proposed AKC realignment of the Groups. Some of the Groups have been split for new total of 11 Groups. Breed assignments to Groups have not been made. Vote of AKC Board on new Groups scheduled for December. Short, interesting discussion. Bo was not present to questions.

Committee Reports

Show Committee: Jan repeated the report given the Board.

Nominating Committee: Nancy reported that the proposed slate of Club Officers and Board members in 2012 would stay the same with the exception of Dave Kingery being replaced with Jackie Blemenstetter. A motion was approved to accept the proposed slate. Nominations will be accepted from the floor in November, a vote on the proposed slate will take place at the December annual meeting.

Old Business

Christmas Party will be held 14 December 2011 at the Crab Cracker in Kirkland.

Yearly Dues are due in December. Bring to Christmas Party.

New Business

A motion was made and approved to continue to conduct business electronically.
