The Nominating Committee has once again been formed and we are in the year end process of electing new officers and Board members for our Club. Most of the Premium Lists for the final shows of the year are out and some of us are trying to decide if we should enter them all, in hopes of finishing that title, or do we slow down for the Holidays and wait on that title until the new year.

Thanksgiving plans are being made; Christmas parties are in the works. Where did the year go?

Nominations for Club officers and Board members will be accepted from the floor at our 8 November meeting. Please check the Standing Rules for eligibility of anyone that you would like to nominate. Club officers and Board members for 2007 will be elected at our 10 December meeting, prior to the start of our Christmas party. Since Bo and Doug have decided to remodel their kitchen, the party will be at either Patty or Jan’s home this year. More information will be out soon.

Preparations for our 13 January show are going well. The Premium List will soon go to the printer. Muriel is attempting to wrap up all of the loose ends for
our judges stay at the Best Western, along with planning the Judge’s Welcome Banquet (to be held at the Best Western, Friday evening, 12 January). We have started to line up ring stewards. Rusty, our Chief Ring Steward, would appreciate hearing from anyone that would like to steward in the breed rings. If you are interested in stewarding for Obedience and Rally rings, please contact me.

The Show Chair, Jan Leikam, says all is well.
