Shasta and Vic in Memoriam

A few days ago, we wished a very fond farewell to Vic, our 14 year old Akita. His kind, gentle spirit was still bright, but his old body simply gave out. He was ever a true friend, a loyal companion and my special protec-tor. We miss him greatly, especially Dante. Shasta also died a few months ago at 18 years of age. She thought her major job in life was to keep Vic’s ears and face clean. And Vic thought she was fantastic for washing part of his body that he could not reach.
